Mission Statement:

We write honest and thoughtful book reviews intended to fairly represent the authors' work while providing readers with the information they need to make informed buying decisions concerning their reading material.  While we will provide constructive criticism when necessary, 'snarking' is never tolerated at Wild on Books.  It is our fervent hope that even our less than positive reviews may prove useful to authors in some small way. 

When do we post reviews?

We will usually post new reviews on our site as soon as they are ready.  This means we will post reviews every week, on no special day of that week.  This relieves the stress on our staff that comes with meeting unchanging deadlines, and also allows us the flexibility to post a review on a certain date, should the author or publisher have a preference.  More than that, we like to post our reviews as soon as possible, so that the information is available for our visitors right away. 

We will keep an area of our home page reserved to note what titles have been reviewed that week, and all reviews will be listed on the Reviews page alphabetically by the author's first name under the month it went live on our site.
