Josie Tate comes home after a weekend off, to find that her employer has disappeared with Josie’s boyfriend and left her twin children in Josie’s care.  Sasha’s last note to Josie is to go get instructions about what to do with the children from Sasha’s attorney.

Guess what?  Josie has to take the twins to their father in South Africa.  That’s where she grew up and where she’d been running from for years.  There’s a secret in her past life that Josie has never been able to overcome.  But for the children, Josie would never ever go back.  Now, it seems, she has no choice.

When she finally arrives, it’s not the children’s father that Josie has to worry about.  It’s his brother, his twin brother, Cade Harper.  Almost from the start, Cade wants Josie.   He thwarts every attempt she makes to leave.  Even after the children find a home with their new family.

Then it happens.  The ghost of her past appears in the flesh.  Cade is determined that there will be no more running for Josie, it’s time to stay and make a life.

If you are a dedicated reader of Erotica, this book might not satisfy you.  STILL RUNNING is classic romance.  Josie and Cade’s relationship, including their physical relationship, takes a long time to develop.  Almost everything takes a long time to develop – the relationship, the reason that Josie was running, the means by which her sojourn comes to an end.

If you stay with it to see how it develops, you will find that the writing has great depth and the characters come to life.  Josie struggles to keep Cade away even while she is around him.  She finds ways to re-capture parts of her life that she lost, even while refusing to see the things she could have if she’d just let Cade in.  Cade struggles to get past the walls that Josie keeps throwing up.  And it is in Cade’s determination that you can see his measure, as a man and the man who’s determined to stop Josie from running.
