Trace and Ryder of Daring Castle have been kidnapped while hunting.  Transported to another planet which is run strictly by women, they are astounded to find out that they are going to be used as slaves; love slaves.  Not only that, but they are expected to be subservient to these women.  Ryder’s mistress is the reigning princess and Trace is given to her friend, and the general of her army.  Knowing without a doubt that he can never be a woman’s sub, Ryder uses every wile he has to change his circumstance only to find out that the princess that has enslaved him in fact doesn’t want him to be submissive; she yearns for a man strong enough to take control.  Trace’s woman, on the other hand, is just what he needs to be happy. What happens when they are rescued?

CAPTIVE OF LOVE by Wendy Stone takes a look at how men learn to cope in a society in which the women rule and the men are ornaments – quite the opposite of what they are used to.  Trace and Ryder fall in love with the women that have captured them but each man wants something different.  I found their personalities to be surprising in that they were so different but yet, still the same.  They each found love and acceptance and in turn loved just as mightily as the women who took them in.  With a surprising twist at the end, CAPTIVE OF LOVE showed just how powerful love can be.  The love scenes were erotic and the emotions were realistic.

I found CAPTIVE OF LOVE to be a great story.  Wendy Stone is coming into her own as a highly talented author and is now on my list of authors that I have to read.
