JC Jensen, a hair dresser from Hoboken, New Jersey, has decided that with her recent bad luck with men that maybe a four legged companion would be better than the two legged ones. So after a trip to the pound and PetSmart JC’s life will never be the same.

JC’s new pet had all the qualities that she would like in a good man – he loves red meat and despises her ex-boyfriend.

Max Adams, was content with just hanging out and playing video games but the prophecy made by his grandmother from a can of chicken soup had him wandering the streets of Hoboken in search of his mate and a good lay.

How will Max convince JC that he and her new pet “fluffy” have more in common than she could ever imagine?

AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN HOBOKEN by Dakota Cassidy was an easy read and left me wanting more from this humorous author.  I love reading paranormal romance books and when you throw in a shape shifting hero you have my undivided attention.

Dakota had me laughing out loud with the one sided conversations between JC and Fluffy.

The sexual intensity between Max and JC was hot. There is a lot to be said for a sturdy table. If your libido needs a boost this is a definite read for you.

A girl’s best friend can turn out to be the man of her dreams.
