Eliza Bradley is disheartened to find that not one established newspaper will
hire her as a reporter. Irritated but unwilling to starve, she takes a job with
a paranormal magazine that investigates supposed paranormal stories. Traveling
to Fairbanks, Alaska to investigate claims of a rogue werewolf preying on
humans, Eliza tries very hard not to roll her eyes but upon arriving at her
destination, the beauty and aura that is Fairbanks makes her think that if
something paranormal was going to happen, then where she is staying is the right
place. And so her investigation begins. Hunter McCall is thought of as a sort of expert on wolves. Makes perfect sense since he is a he is a werewolf. Hunter runs into Eliza at a diner and when she asks to borrow something from his table and their hands touch, sparks fly. Hunter is surprised even further when Eliza’s investigation leads her to his door. Unable to keep their hands and mouths off of each other, the two embark on a steamy affair. It isn’t until Hunter is hurt while investigating the rogue werewolf on his own that he comes clean about his shape shifting abilities. Abilities that Eliza never thought she would believe. ANIMAL ATTRACTION by Paige Tyler is scorching hot. More than once I blushed watching and being witness to the sheer animalistic attraction shared by Eliza and Hunter. Speaking of Hunter, he was a werewolf after my own heart. His complete infatuation with Eliza shined through and I wanted him so very badly to tell her that he was the very creature that she was looking to find. Eliza’s character made me smile more than once. While she took the job as a reporter of a paranormal magazine because she had to and even scoffed at the possibility of werewolves, I loved watching her opinion on the possibility of werewolves change. The love scenes between Eliza and Hunter were erotic but romantic, forceful but sensual, and naughty but playful. The feelings and depth of emotions Eliza and Hunter felt for each other, almost immediately, were believable and so very sexy. After reading ANIMAL ATTRACTION I will never again look at a hot tub without remembering this risqué but thoroughly entertaining novel.
