As far as

Ryder and his mate, Alexis. Only thing is, when Ryder first meets Alexis, she
is already in a bit of a sticky situation. Still, the lady is no push-over and
Ryder is thrilled to witness firsthand how she handles herself when the going
gets rough.
Even so, Ryder isn’t denied his opportunity to play hero for his mate. She’s in
bigger trouble than she could ever suspect, with the Darkland Beasts who
threaten humanity targeting her ranch. Quick to scent the enemy, our intrepid
hero sticks close by, doing whatever it takes to drive the threat away from his

If he gets to stay close by the woman of his dreams in the meantime, well,
that’s just an added bonus! That paranormal instinct that draws a knight to his
