Lacey Alexander follows up the first story in her CITY HEAT series with a magnificent little romance called CARTER’S CUFFS. This story takes us to the decadent city of Las Vegas, pairing a lady copy with a very hunky construction worker.

As with the first CITY HEAT book, LYNDA’S LACE, the second story exhibits Ms. Alexander’s penchant for unconventional romance. Make no mistake, however, these books are definitely romances in the best sense of the word. While they feature people who commit to faithful relationships with each other, these couples are not adverse to exploring the farthest boundaries of each other’s fantasies, much to the readers’ delight! What does that mean? Well, you will find female/male/female ménage scenes that include some female/female contact and a little light bondage. But underneath it all, Carter and Erin’s love story is the glue that binds the story together, without a doubt.

Carter proves himself the perfect hero for Erin. While an intrepid policewoman on the job, she has some pretty serious fears when it comes to relationships. Never daunted, Carter perseveres until he uncovers the truth behind Erin’s hesitancy to date not just him, but anyone seriously.

Hi perseverance pays off big time. Erin doesn’t last for long under his calculated assault to her heart, and soon learns that love doesn’t weaken you, but strengthens.
