Keeley has known Sean for years, ever since her older cousin befriended him when
they were kids. Make that her older, overprotective cousin. For all
that time, she has longed for Sean to see her as a woman and love interest, but
he still sees her as ‘Squints’, the little girl that used to tag along behind
him and his friend.
But Keeley has long outgrown that childish nickname and she is determined to do
whatever it takes to get Sean’s attention. Hiring him to take some photographs
of her, she neglects to tell him they are boudoir shots until she arrives for
the shoot. With any luck, Sean won’t be able to hold out for long under an
onslaught of sexy lingerie and suggestive poses…
Sean has tried hard not to notice Keeley, but that proves harder and harder –
especially when she starts to unleash her inner sex kitten. The sexy little
minx is off-limits, however. Sean knows his buddy would kill him if he ever
made a move on Keeley. Oh, what a way to go, though….
TORTURE. This book is sheer torture! And I loved every dirty word of it…
*grin* Lena Matthews and Evangeline Anderson are absolutely ruthless as they
put their characters through sexual hell teasing each other mercilessly the
entire story through.
That isn’t all there is to this story, however. Throughout it all, we are
treated to recollections from Sean and Keeley’s shared past as well as their
current thoughts about how much they care for each other, both of which build a
feeling of love that serves to heighten the sensual anticipation that grows with
each scene. Because when all is said and done, good sex can be hot, but good
sex between two people who care deeply for each other is even hotter.
Keeley is something to see as she implements her no-holds-barred plot to find
out once and for all if Sean has any romantic interest in her. With a bag of
tricks and a bit of exhibitionism, she soon has Sean right where she wants him.
Of course, Sean tries hard to hide his reaction, thinking that he and Keeley
can’t be together. Keeping the way she is affecting him under wraps is tough,
but he manages well enough to keep her on her toes. It’s a good thing Keeley is
persistent…
