keep either her libidinous thoughts or her hands off of her Jared…

TAKE YOUR MEDICINE
is Arianna Hart’s sequel to her novel SURPRISE, where we first
meet Macayla and Jared during a most intriguing meeting. The readers’
fascination for this pair can only grow as we get to know them up close and
personal in their own story.
Jared Romero is the hunkiest, sexiest computer hacker north of the Mason-Dixon
line, and I will confess he got my nerdy little motor running with no trouble at
all! His wicked charm would prove fatally disarming to the most reluctant
woman, which Macayla certainly qualifies as in the beginning of the story.
Macayla is a paragon of virtue – she has raised her younger brother since their
parents died and she works tirelessly at the hospital in order to put him
through college herself. This giving yet iron-willed woman is no pushover,
however, even as susceptible as she is to Jared’s determined wooing. She takes
everything he says with a grain of salt, while her heart longs to open up to him
and experience love the way it is meant to be.
We revisit with the couple from the previous story in this series, Samara and
Connor, as they help their friends find a way out of the dangerous SNAFU Jared
has landed them in. Fans who have read SURPRISE will no doubt
enjoy seeing where this pair are now as much as I did.
TAKE YOUR MEDICINE is a fun little romp with a nice bit of
suspense thrown in to spice up the plot.
